Good afternoon!

I hope all of you Minnesotans are staying warm on this frigid winter day! School is closed and I am enjoying some time in my stamping corner, sipping on warm tea- bliss!

Just received a phone call from school...another winter day off of school for our kids tomorrow- YIPPY!

I used a combination of Tuesday Techniques stamps, Washi tape, twine and jewels to create these simple little cards, enjoy!

Just enough to brighten a friend's day.

Lovely little Valentine for your hottie!

 Stay inside, dear friends, do something for yourself today!

Your friend, Nicole

Hello, Friends!

Well it is a balmy zero degrees here in Faribault with school closed on Monday due to the temperature and wind chill- bummer! Yeah, right, just more time for me to scrap and stamp! The holidays were more than perfect and my sister invited us over for a New Years party and it was a blast! I am so blessed to have such an amazing family!

I woke up on Saturday morning with am email from Etsy telling me that someone purchased a card from my shop! I was so excited, so I checked to see if my mom was my first customer, but she wasn't  it was a lady from New York! Boy, did I feel special! I packaged up the card and drove it straight to the post office to be mailed out. That was so much fun...when I arrived home I quickly ordered some Valentine stamps from Papertrey Ink so I can make some more cards to sell for the next holiday...I am trying to keep up with Wal-Mart but  I don't think that is going to be possible!

One of my goals this year is to make people smile and feel special about themselves, so I am going to make every effort to send a card to all of my family members and friends for their birthday or just because they are special to me. If you are reading this blog, you may be receiving a card from me sometime soon, I hope you enjoy it because I enjoy you!

Stay warm my friends!
Nicole

Hello!

I just opened an Etsy shop called, Pink Cardstock. I have always wanted to sell my cards on Etsy, but have never really had the courage to do so. Lately, I have been getting a number of requests to make and design cards for people so I thought it was time to show off my creations and make it easy for people to order and pay online. Take a look and let me know what you think, feedback is always a good thing!

Here are a couple of cards that I have posted in my shop...

Super cute bakery bags with assorted Halloween monster tags;
fill with little treats for a friend.
Set of 6

Happy Birthday card for that little "Monster" in your life!

A birthday card for a special little girl.

New neighbor?
This is a perfect little "welcome" to the neighborhood card; sweet and simple;
Welcome sentiment on the inside.

Birthday card for a special lady.

Stopping by to say "hi there"!
Autumn card

Set of 5 bakery bags & variety of pumpkin tags;
just add "monster cookies"!

Besides opening a shop this weekend Ady and I had plenty of time to hang out, shop at the mall, watch movies, visit relatives and craft. Tim and August went to the cabin to set up deer stands for hunting season. August is super excited to hunt deer for the first time this fall- Tim is very proud of him.

Had a little time to whip up some cards for my friends so I thought I would share a couple of them with you! I love creating for those I LOVE!!!

This little cutie is for a friend that is having her first baby...it's a boy! I used My Minds Eye designer paper, felt robot sticker, ribbon and a die cut tag from Papertrey Ink. This card was super easy to put together; I used up the rest of the felt stickers and whipped up 3 more cards for my Sweet Celebrations card box.

I have so many coffee stamp sets, but this one is my favorite from Papertrey Ink. I made this card for a good friend that I haven't seen for so long, but every time we get together it seems like we just met up the day before. I wanted to send her a thank you for her friendship so I made this happy card for her- I just love the coral and turquoise together, so fresh for summer.

I made this card for an engagement and another one for an anniversary. I have the hardest time coming up with wedding and anniversary card designs, but I think this one turned out pretty cute. It was fun sending them off.

I have made this card before, but I added Washi tape under the ribbon and a sun behind the rainbow. I usually send this card for baptisms, 1st Communions or any type of religious celebrations. The rainbow is made using Nest-abilities scalloped die cut in half. Super easy to make and you can always make two at the same time using the other half of the scalloped circle.

That's it for today, I will share more as I create them...have a great week and take some time for yourself.

God bless,
Nicole

Hello, Friends!

It has been a long time since I posted or stamped for that matter! After two long years away from stamping, I purchased a bunch of new stamps and colored paper and dusted off my crafting space! I am so excited to be stamping again; the best part is sending my creations to those I love...

I made this card this morning and wanted to show it off. It is so springy and fresh. It's exactly what I need on this cold March day...anything SPRING! Card inspired by Melissa Brickford

Enjoy! Nicole
