It was -15 this morning on our way to church! The only thing I could think of was...great, now I can stay in and stamp today. Well, that didn't exactly happen, let's see...I ran August to a friend's house in Farmington and worked for four hours at school, then came home, went on a walk with my neighbor and then I hoped to get a little stamping in after dinner. I guess life does go on in the COLD Minnesota winter, no one can accuse us of being wimps, that's for sure!
I made some cards last weekend and wanted to share them with all of you! I am still toying with the idea of selling them on Etsy...I will keep you posted if I do.
I was so excited to use this set called, Larger Than Life. Tim purchased it for my birthday, needless to say I was so happy- a new flower set! I just received the die cut that goes along with it so I won't have to cut all of the flowers out anymore. The die cut in the background is also from Papertrey, I used the Wood grain dry embossing template for texture, then distressed all of the edges with Tim Holtz tea dye Distress Ink.
This is one of my favorite Christmas thank you cards. I used a PTI set called, Peace Be Still, by Heather Nichols. Heather is from Duluth, she is a Papertry Ink Designer. The die cut is from the Mat Stack 1 Collection along with the stamp.
My sister, Heather, asked for some birthday cards for her girls to give away to their friends this year. For this card I used a Pure Innocent girl, she is a digistamp. I used PTI bingo card stamp and Cosmo Cricket paper. I put "bling" on her crown and tied it off with some red and white twine.
I do have more to share....I will post more later this week.
Keep warm, thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Nicole
